I drew these illustrations for Galatasaray Lisesi Mezunlar Derneği, the alumni association of my high school, while I was serving on its board. Alongside other graphic work for the association, they became the 2022 merch collection.

Each one is an object every Galatasaray graduate recognizes instantly:

Yatakhane (the dormitory). Most of us left our families to board at the school. The red and yellow blanket is where that begins, and where a new family starts to form.

Tambur (the drum). Galatasaray never had a school bell. Breaks were announced by the sound of the tambur. It's an old instrument, and the sound is the same today, even though no one is actually playing it anymore.

The clock. It sits at the top of the school building and is recognizable to anyone who knows Galatasaray.

The drawings use loose hand-drawn linework and the school's red and yellow.
