The Spark ✨
The brief for this project was to create art covers for single release songs, with style and content requirements being completely open ended. Hence my process for this was to give the song a listen to get a feel, and since this particular single was about breaking new into the South Asian rap scene, an urban element that was expressive of the city's gritty but soulful and eclectic fabric was the perfect element to incorporate.
Along with taking inspiration from Miyazakis powerful wolf from Princess Mononoke whose allegiance lies with ecojustice, the colour red was chosen to depict the rawness and power of someone saying, here comes the Big Bad Wolf!
