Oximeter Pulse Monitoring System (IoT)
The traditional oximeter is used to display the BPM and Oxygen (SPO2) levels in the device itself. A client approached us with a problem that oximeters can only show the readings to a person or doctor who is present in front of the patient wearing the device to analyze the readings. During covid-19 situation doctors and patients kept a distance and it was difficult to see the readings. They wanted a remote solution to this problem and wanted to make it portable and feasible to read and analyze. Therefore, my team came up with a solution that made traditional oximeters very much remote and feasible. Doctors can use the app to monitor the readings of the patient's BPM and SPO2. Distinguishable colors are used to differentiate if the readings are abnormal or normal. The readings had an accuracy rate of 99.84% which made analysis much faster and safer. The below Image shows the app developed for our device to monitor the readings.
