Design an immersive and conversion-focused homepage for a fictional Squid Game merchandise store. The goal was to capture the visual intensity of the series while creating a seamless and shoppable experience.
🧠 Design Exploration & Approach
I explored how to blend strong cinematic visuals with a clear e-commerce structure. Here’s how I broke it down:
Hero Section:
A bold, full-screen visual sets the tone with characters from the show, paired with a strong CTA: "Survival Starts With Style". The pink button contrasts against the dark background to guide the user's focus.
Categories Preview:
I created visual category cards (Apparel, Accessories, Collectibles) that are immediately scannable and interactive, using icons and imagery that mirror the Squid Game aesthetic.
Best Seller Section:
Highlighting popular items with neon-accented backgrounds to draw the eye. The layout is grid-based for clarity and mobile-friendly. Each item has a clear price and title to encourage clicks.
Color & Theme:
I used a dark theme to reflect the eerie tone of the show, accented with pink and green — the signature Squid Game colors — to enhance recognition and mood.
