In my role as a Data Consultant for Data4Business, working with L'Oréal, I was tasked with developing a timeseries forecast model to predict sales expectations. Using machine learning approaches and multiple dynamic regressions, I analyzed historical sales data, accounting for various factors like seasonal trends and marketing initiatives. My focus was on creating a model that L'Oréal could rely on for accurate sales forecasting, which would enable better inventory management and production planning. The project involved close collaboration with L'Oréal's teams, ensuring the model's integration into their strategic processes and guiding them on how to use the forecasts for decision-making. This work aimed to enhance L'Oréal's operational efficiency and align their product supply with market demand.
