Live Event Coverage of Dialogue Den with Anil Kapoor

As part of a four-member crew, I had the opportunity to cover Dialogue Den, an engaging live event featuring Bollywood icon Mr. Anil Kapoor, held at CNS Mumbai. The event focused on creativity, storytelling, and the evolving media landscape — and demanded a refined approach to capturing high-profile interactions with clarity and nuance.
Filming a live podcast featuring a public figure like Mr. Anil Kapoor came with its own unique set of production hurdles. From managing clean, uninterrupted audio in a space filled with ambient noise, to operating multiple cameras in a confined, audience-filled venue, every decision had to be made in real-time. The nature of the conversation demanded that we remain completely unobtrusive, allowing the dialogue to flow naturally without disruption, all while ensuring the visual and audio quality met professional standards. Lighting inconsistencies, crowd movements, and the need for discretion added additional layers of complexity to an already high-pressure environment.
Live Multi-Cam Setup: Managed a dynamic multi-camera layout to keep the conversation visually engaging
Audio-Visual Sync: Ensured crisp audio quality that matched the pacing and emotion of the dialogue
Collaborative Execution: Worked closely with three team members to coordinate shoot angles, lighting, and live direction
Respectful Presence: Balanced technical precision with sensitivity to the energy and tone of a candid, high-profile conversation
