Our internal client at TC Transcontinental wanted the team to develop an interactive tool to replace the printed sell sheets that their CPG clients use today.
In this project I was able to dive deep in the UX process from beginning all the way to a prototype that our client was able to use to start testing.
After doing some internal research, the category the team chose was Peanut Butter, since most of TC's clients are CPG companies we could create an example that can apply to most of our clients.
Then we moved on to doing some research: The team interviewed the brand representatives, the people who actually use the sell sheets.
We asked them about the printed sell sheets, the ones they use to sell a product and the answer was that they can use whatever to sell the product, if it's a big brand the name basically sells the product, it's how they process the orders where they prefer a digital tool, something easy to navigate, loaded with an order form that allows them process them in the moment.
Easy and convenient.
Finally I was able to provide graphic assets to the UI team to start developing the tool for testing before moving on to another opportunity.
What would I do differently? Probably I would prioritize even more the order form since this was the key element of the tool but overall this was a great learning experience.
