From 2008 to 2012, I served as a Product Manager at T-Mobile. During that time, I:
Managed social media marketing & product strategy for Bobsled Calling - T-Mobile's IP communications platform that works for anyone, anywhere in the world.
Lead cross-functional team and external partner to launch Multimedia Sync by doubleTwist. Within three months of launch, software was adopted by more than 100,000 T-Mobile customers with strong week-over-week growth numbers – all with only low-visibility Marketing support. Initiative was touted internally by executives as an example of quick, strategically-minded, cost-effective execution and externally by the press as innovative and daring on the part of T-Mobile.
Developed scope and requirements and led evaluation of partners for development of enhanced media management and playback applications suite for the myTouch 3G product line. Partnered internally to build consensus around recommendation, business terms, execution timeframe and cross-functional product and service impacts.
Partnered with Marketing to develop strategic product positioning and handset lineup tiering to evolve myFaves from a rate plan to a high-definition tool that allows T-Mobile customers to connect intimately with the people that matter most to them.
Created intellectual property resulting in two patent applications related to mechanisms for managing customer social data within a wireless network. Intellectual property was launched to the marketplace as part of the core user experience for myFaves 3.0 in May, 2010.
Was selected by T-Mobile's Chief Innovation and Technology Officer as part of a four-person Product Development task force charged with providing feedback on T-Mobile's brand strategy to our Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Task force analysis of relationship between two potential brand constructs and trajectory of T-Mobile's positioning in the marketplace directly impacted the plan of record.
Evaluated product proposals and customer insights and translated into recommendations for the product roadmap based on existing technical capabilities and business requirements.
Supported definition of guiding product value proposition for SideKick product line.
Articulated the value proposition and requirements for new product concepts for the 18 month+ product roadmap.
