The Challenge
Produced a series of short-form cinematic reels for Marriage Match East Africa, an impact-driven matchmaking brand. Each reel was designed for scroll-stopping engagement: fast cuts, intentional color grading, and motion graphics that reinforce the brand's warmth and credibility. Shot and edited in Premiere Pro and After Effects, with finishing in DaVinci Resolve.
My Solution
I stepped in to edit and motion-design a series of punchy, high-retention social reels using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

The Process
I started by reviewing all raw footage to identify the most compelling moments. I then built a rough narrative arc—anticipation, discovery, emotion, resolution. Once the pacing was locked, I moved to After Effects to design custom motion graphics and text animations. Finally, I layered in sound design and music to complete the cinematic feel.
The Result
• Delivered 8 high-quality, fully-edited clips within a 48-hour turnaround
• Maintained 70%+ viewer retention in the critical first 3 seconds
