I built a photo sharing platform that sourced images from Imagn (USA Today). Results were delivered quickly by storing photo metadata in a search index (Meilisearch). Code was also responsible for retrieving the data from the external database and normalizing it into a MySQL database optimized for querying based on the application's functionality.
