This is a personal project I created - a book cover concept for The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. I absolutely fell in love with this entrancing story and the beloved characters.
Illustrated here are Achilles and Patroclus on the shores of Troy. Layers of texture, dramatic lighting and a sense of grandeur are meant to portray the intrigue, sensuality, and richness of the story Miller has written.
