Vintage-style animation music video

The video for "Aléjate" by Bolivian singer-songwriter Gabriel Lema was created by Krpie using mixed media art techniques, incorporating dozens of high-resolution landscape cutouts from a 2000 encyclopedia magazine. These cutouts were manually scanned and arranged into abstract compositions that align with the rhythm of the song, helping to deepen its context. The combination of vintage landscapes and abstract composition reflects the emotional atmosphere of the song, adding a textured and warm quality that allows the viewer to feel through the music. The animation was executed at a rate of 8 frames per second in a Super 8 format, intentionally rustic and vintage, with a completely handcrafted style. The creative process took around two months.
