Overview
Food Waste App connects users with nearby businesses (like restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores) that are offering surplus food. It enables businesses to easily manage and sell excess food within a 1-3 hour timeframe. Users can conveniently locate nearby businesses offering surplus food and easily purchase items online or through cash on delivery.
My Design Process
Research & Planning:
Requirements Gathering: Thoroughly understand project goals, target audience, and user needs.
Information Architecture: Define user flows, create sitemaps, and establish clear information hierarchies.
Branding & Style Guide:
Brand Identity: Develop a comprehensive brand style guide, including color palettes, typography, and imagery.
Wireframing & Prototyping:
High-Fidelity Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes to simulate user interactions and test usability.
Visual Design:
UI Design: Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with the brand guidelines.
UX Design: Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience across all touchpoints.
Testing & Iteration:
Usability Testing: Conduct user testing to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Iterations: Refine the design based on user feedback and testing results.
Deliverables:
Design Files: Deliver high-quality design files in Figma format, including style guides, assets, and interactive prototypes.
