Increasing Conversion and Retention on Changera - A UI Redesign

Changera is a fintech solution, simplifying daily financial transactions through fiat and cryptocurrencies. Similar products include Klasha, Gomoney and Wallets Africa.

The Changera team is on a mission to bridge the gap between continents, allowing users to send and receive money across the globe seamlessly.

I worked with the team to tackle the challenge posed by user drop-offs and low engagement on Changera. We identified key pain points and implemented a strategic UI revamp. This significantly elevated the overall user experience and drove impactful results.

My attempt to redesign kicked off with a design system for Changera. This was necessary to keep the process sped up and maintain uniformity across all designs. I started with the basic styles and elements and updated as the project progressed.

Due to a tight deadline and limited resources for the project, I couldn’t take the interview and user testing route. As a means of improvising, I employed a rough and quick approach which involved: - Competitive Analysis - Customer Complaints and Reviews
