One Point: SaaS Explainer Video

Overview

A sample explainer I made on my own to practice turning a SaaS interface into a clear, short video. The message running through it is simple: managing multiple projects isn't easy.

The goal

Show how a project and team management product works, covering its team view and job progress, in a short video that needs no long walkthrough.

My process

Storyboard: I planned the flow, scenes and message first, so every part of the video had a clear purpose before any animation.

Design files: I worked from existing Figma files for the interface.

Asset prep: I converted the Figma designs in Illustrator so they were ready to animate.

Animation: I animated the interface and text in After Effects.

Sound: I added sound effects in Premiere Pro.

Tools

Figma files, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro.
