Leather jackets have been a staple piece for the alternative style for a VERY long time. A tried-and-true accessory that can elevate any outfit. The question that I’m commonly asked as a leather jacket enthusiast is how to style them. That’s always a fun and tricky question, because there are so many different styles and inspiration you can use! They can be edgy, classy, and professional. Let’s explore the different variety of options to rock that leather jacket that’s been sitting in your closet!

Leather jackets can be used to make any casual outfit stand out. If you’re looking for how to style a casual outfit with a leather jacket this can be a great fashion example for you.

For example, a casual t-shirt and skirt can make a statement while still being a more simple look. A black leather jacket can really pull it together, giving it a unique flare. You can always choose different ways to wear it, such as tucking in the t-shirt or wearing an oversized one to hang lower. Adding a cute pair of sneakers always adds to it as well! Simple jewelry can’t hurt either.

Although you should always take heed of the occasion and any dress code attire; for example, don’t show up in something crazy at a classy wedding if it’s against a preferred dress code.
