Science-Fiction Book Series running since 1987 and contributed to by over 40 authors.

Wild Cards is a science-fiction book series edited by George R.R. Martin.

I provided community management and growth for the series via social media and digital advertising.

I was tasked with growing the brand’s Facebook page to over 10,000 followers, which was accomplished in one year using Facebook ads.

Daily posting of art, history, and information about the book series to interact with a loyal fanbase all around the world.

Provided photography and video editing services.

Grew the brand’s audience to over 40,000 followers across social media channels.

Facebook daily budget: $5.00. Targeted fans of science fiction and fantasy books. Grew audience quickly and with a low CPC to 36,000 followers within three years.

Worked with series authors to promote their work via Reddit AMA sessions, as well as promoting new book releases directly via Reddit’s Books sub-reddit, which has over 21 million followers.

I oversaw the release of three new books during my tenure working with the brand. In that time, first and second quarter sales of new books were 20% higher than before I handled marketing.

Increased book sales via Facebook ad campaigns for the series.
