Kitschy Vision is a project that never really settled into one thing.
It began with a new demo song by Felix Ferry. The tone and rhythm of the track — along with the word “kitsch” itself — shaped the direction from the beginning. Ideas were thrown around and executed without any hesitation. A mysterious milk prop was one of the first things made, and quickly became the meeting point between the song and the visual world, setting the overall atmosphere. From there, the piece evolved into a narrative — following a creature in search of a specific bread to match an equally specific drink.
The project eventually split into two versions — Side A and Side B

While side A, the official video focus on bright saturation and the original storyline, side B then taps the unseen footages in reverse. Editor’s cut reveals another possible version of the same journey while still overlapping with the first, as if both timelines are happening at once.
I was the person on screen, running through market and chinatown, and I was also the one running around off screen, navigating constant friction and chaotic communication throughout the production.
Looking back, that is what stays in the work. Rather than feeling polished or resolved, the project carries a certain density — like it somehow kept all the mess and made it part of the charm.
