DEADLY DAMES - shoot management

In 2018, the team at Pinup Girl decided to revamp a house brand that had been retired a few years prior. Inspired by the early 60's, the concept was an easy one to curate: compared to the more classic, retro look of the main line, Deadly Dames was intended for the vamps, bad girls, and femme fatales.
As part of the launch strategy, it was decided we would create a trailer promoting the line inspired by a cult classic film: Russ Meyer's Faster, Pussycat, Kill, Kill!
As then Director of Photography at the company, I assisted as a producer and on-set photography. Together with our hired director and the CEO, I selected and booked our models, handled fittings, coordinated accommodations, and organized a separate studio shoot to ensure good representation of the product at launch, amongst other things.
