AYA Home - Homestay Booking Website

Overview: AYA Home is a photo-led homestay booking website that lets travelers browse and book a quiet place to stay. The site is built around large room photography with dedicated room pages, a check-in/check-out date bar across the top of each listing, and a quick chat shortcut so guests can message the host directly to confirm a booking. The layout is fully responsive and the experience is the same from desktop to phone. — Challenge: Homestay owners usually rely on scattered messages and calendar screenshots to coordinate stays, which makes it hard for guests to pick dates and confirm a reservation in one place. The goal was to put the photos, the rooms, the dates and the host contact into a single site so the booking conversation starts on the property page itself, and it still reads well on mobile where most guests look. — What I built: - Photo-led room pages with a gallery, description, amenities and pricing per stay. - Check-in / check-out date bar surfaced on the listing and room pages so dates are set before a guest reaches out. - A quick-chat shortcut that opens direct messaging between guest and host for fast confirmation. - Search, filter and room-grid views tuned for mobile and tablet, with tap-friendly cards and bottom-scrolly navigation. - Tags applied: Web Designer, Booking. — Result: A clean, responsive homestay site where the photos drive the scroll, the dates are set early through the check-in/out bar, and a guest moves from room page to chat to booked in a few taps.
