The problem
Cloudflare firewall rules were unintentionally blocking legitimate Klaviyo traffic.
Magento could no longer sync customer and order data with Klaviyo.
Automated email flows and customer-data synchronization stopped.
The storefront itself looked normal, making the failure easy to miss.
The technical approach
Reviewed the existing Cloudflare firewall rules and their priority.
Compared Cloudflare firewall events with the timestamps and request patterns associated with Klaviyo.
Identified the rules responsible for blocking the integration.
Added specific allow rules for known Klaviyo IP ranges and request signatures above restrictive rules.
Tested the connection live and confirmed Magento-to-Klaviyo synchronization before closing the engagement.
Result
The issue was diagnosed and resolved within a single two-hour session.
Klaviyo was reconnected to Magento and data synchronization resumed.
Automated email flows were restored.
The store's security rules remained in place while legitimate integration traffic was allowed.
