The PCOS Nutritionist

I was commissioned by The PCOS Nutritionist to create a new website that has a strong design direction and appeals to those who suffer from Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome a.k.a PCOS.

Those who suffer from PCOS and similar illnesses often feel isolated and alone, as the information surrounding them are often in the early stages of research, with not a lot of concrete evidence to support conclusions.

Rather than focus on the scary medical side of disease, the design celebrates the strength of those who live with PCOS and creates a community where they can feel a sense of belonging. This was achieved through ditching the medical jargon and using colour, iconography and a playful/inviting atmosphere for users.
