How I helped strengthen GymLive across subscriptions, mobile, backend, and cloud
The challenge
GymLive supports clubs, coaches, members, subscriptions, community features, and mobile experiences across several connected products. The system needs reliable billing, permissions, data, and background workflows while continuing to evolve in production.
My role
I worked as a hands-on full-stack engineer across Node.js and TypeScript APIs, React applications, Flutter mobile development, PostgreSQL, Stripe billing, AWS serverless infrastructure, testing, and production delivery. My work included reading existing systems, extending them safely, and solving issues across product boundaries.
What I delivered
• Backend APIs and business logic in Node.js and TypeScript
• Subscription, billing, and payment workflows with Stripe
• React interfaces across club and member products
• Flutter mobile features for iOS and Android
• PostgreSQL schema work and migrations with Drizzle ORM
• AWS serverless infrastructure using SST and Lambda
• Authentication, permissions, and protected operational workflows
• Reliable asynchronous processing, failure handling, and production fixes
• Automated testing, code review, and continuous delivery
Outcome
The engagement strengthened GymLive across the layers that matter most to a subscription product: billing, backend reliability, mobile delivery, operational tooling, and cloud infrastructure. I contributed as a long-term technical partner who could move between product decisions and implementation instead of working inside a single narrow specialty.
Strengthened a production subscription platform across Node.js APIs, Stripe billing, Flutter mobile, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS serverless infrastructure.
