Material study — close framing, linen folds and raking light reveal the walnut grain. Fictional object concept.
Architectural study — a smaller silhouette, terracotta geometry and long shadows change the visual rhythm. Fictional object concept.
12-second silent editorial sequence: held compositions, a directional transition, a dissolve and a closing fade.
FORM / FIBRE — shape before the headline
A self-initiated fictional homeware visual study by Aksum Studios. The brief: give an independent small brand a distinctive social presence through sculptural forms, tactile materials and light.
THREE COMPOSITIONS, THREE ROLES
The teal hero puts a clear silhouette first. Its curved handle and woven fiber create one focal point that stays readable in a small feed preview.
The linen study moves closer to the surface. The architectural study gives the object more space and uses a diagonal shadow to lead the eye. These are separate conceptual objects connected by a material palette, not three views of one manufactured product.
SELECTION AND REFINEMENT
The teal composition leads because its contrast and silhouette carry the idea without large typography. The supporting images vary scale, crop and negative space instead of repeating a headline layout.
A RESTRAINED EDITORIAL RHYTHM
The 12-second silent sequence holds each image for material inspection. A directional transition introduces the close study; a dissolve opens into the architectural scene. This is still-image sequencing, not an animated product demonstration.
SCOPE AND APPLICATION
Three original portrait image studies and one 1080 × 1350 editorial video. Fictional concept work: no manufactured inventory, client commission, sales results or physical fabrication are represented.
