Development of TheLocalPro Platform

As the CTO and Tech Advisor for TheLocalPro project, my role was to oversee and contribute to the development of a comprehensive platform dedicated to connecting users with local professionals across the UK.
Our team was responsible for the complete lifecycle of the project, starting with creating an intuitive and user-friendly UI/UX design using Figma. We then implemented the frontend using React, a powerful JavaScript library, ensuring a responsive and engaging user experience.
On the server side, we utilized PHP, a robust and versatile scripting language, in conjunction with Laravel, a highly efficient PHP framework. This combination enabled us to build a secure, scalable, and high-performing backend infrastructure.
To further optimize our application’s performance and scalability, we leveraged AWS Lambda, a serverless computing service. This ensured our application could handle traffic effectively, irrespective of the load, while also maintaining cost-effectiveness.
