This website "Books for Life" is a fourth Portfolio Project of the Code Institute's Full Stack Web Development course. It is a Full Stack developed website. The website is built using Django 4.1 and Python 3.8. The database is hosted on ElephantSQL and the static files are hosted on Cloudinary. The website is deployed on Heroku. The website is a platform for book lovers to share their favourite books with other book lovers. It is a place where book lovers can find new books to read and share their own book recommendations. The idea for the website came to me in summer of 2023 when my dear friend Grace passed away. A decade ago she gave me a bookmark with the title "50 Books to Read Before You Die". She loved to read and share that love with others, generously and effortlessly. Therefore, this site is a tribute to her memory.
