Content Audit:
Goal/Purpose or Scope of the audit:
The purpose or scope of this audit includes assessment of the content, formatting, and on-page SEO optimization of the blog content published on One Nature’s website.
Insights/Suggestions:
 Content and formatting Analysis:
After conducting thorough research, and overviewing competitors’ content, following are some of the gaps in formatting and content that I’ve observed:
The paragraphs below introduction were mostly without a subheading. The blog posts could benefit from clear subheadings that break up the content into more digestible sections. This makes it easier for readers to skim and locate the information they are most interested in
Most of the blogs were missing a conclusion section, so consider adding a conclusion paragraph at the end to encourage your readers towards an action and foster engagement.
Blogs are not formatted as per SEO (refer to SEO analysis for suggestions).
The current headlines (in almost every blog) are informative but not particularly attention-grabbing (in fact vague and unclear). So, consider using active voice, being more specific and bringing into handy the principles of copywriting while drafting any sort of headline/hook.
There were no CTA in most of the blogs as they end abruptly without any clear call to action for readers. So, it’d be wise to add CTA in your conclusion section to get better engagement and conversion through the content.
There are not enough visuals in each blog post. Having more visuals in a blog post helps attract and retain attention, enhance readability, and improve SEO performance.
SEO Analysis:
After conducting thorough research, and overviewing competitors’ content, following are some of the gaps in SEO that I’ve observed:
There are no ALT tags for images in any of the blog posts. Consider adding ALT tags for images with relevant keywords to ensure better SEO performance.
There are no relevant internal and external links in the blogs. External and internal links help with better ranking of the content and improving the overall user experience.
There are no meta descriptions mentioned in any blog. So, it’d be wise to add a meta description for each of the blogs to improve the overall SEO performance.
It is because of this that, despite using all the keywords from the headline and even adding brand’s name, the search engine is unable to locate the blog (seen in the image above). Hence, I believe, making the above changes in formatting and SEO would heed positive results.
