Soplá is a new Argentine asado catering business: live fire, long tables, weddings and private celebrations. The founders came with the brand already done: story, palette, logo, photography direction. What they didn't want was a catering website. Their references were luxury restaurants and editorial magazines, and the launch budget was lean.
The decision
One page done properly, instead of several pages done thinly. It carries the whole story in order: an opening with the enquiry button, the story, the experience, menus, the kinds of events, a gallery, how it works, and the enquiry form. Anything that could wait, like booking calendars, deposits and extra pages, went on a written later list instead of being squeezed in.
Soplá hero: Gather around the fire
Designing inside their brand
Their brand PDF was the authority: linen, terracotta, charcoal and olive, Source Serif 4 as the closest Framer match for their Source Serif Pro, and Courier Prime for small notation. Where I made calls, they were about restraint.
Atmosphere over plated food. Their photos lead with fire, dusk, smoke and people at the table rather than plated close-ups. I picked the clean scenes from their archive and left out the timestamped social posts and low-resolution screenshots.
Menus built around the gathering
Motion that doesn't fight the scroll. An early version stacked sticky sections and parallax, and scrolling felt unnatural. I cut it back to one deliberate hold.
Atmosphere-led gallery
No made-up details. City, phone, email and service area stayed out until they confirmed them, so the site never promised something they couldn't deliver.
How it gets them enquiries
The enquiry path is one obvious move from every screen. The form asks what a caterer needs to quote: date, guest count and event type. Checked on desktop, tablet and phones down to 320px.
The enquiry form
What it changed
Soplá launched on a site built from its own brand, not a template. It's built so the founders can edit text, photos, menus, prices and contact details in Framer themselves, and so it can grow a page at a time without a rebuild. I also published a second imagery option alongside the first, so they could choose with the real site in front of them.
Soplá on phone: hero and enquiry
Got a brand that's ready but a site that doesn't feel like it yet? That's a good week of work for me.

Framer site for Soplá, a new Argentine live-fire catering brand: a lean one-page launch that feels like a premium restaurant, with one clear enquiry path.
