At TradeDepot, I spearheaded the development of an embedded finance platform that revolutionised how CPG retailers accessed working capital. By enabling retailers to order inventory on credit and repay as they sold to end customers, the platform scaled to 50,000 borrowers across three countries while maintaining a 97% repayment rate. This transformative product not only increased retailer purchasing power but also demonstrated significant market impact, directly contributing to TradeDepot’s successful $75M fundraising round by showcasing its potential to drive scalable growth and financial inclusion in the CPG sector. I was a key driver of the investor negotiations, by running the team to meet key milestones, organising due diligence information, and contributing to the overall structure of the investment.
