| The Guadante

For the Palmieri Contest, I designed the labels for the three wines produced by the company: Pallagrello Bianco, Pallagrello Rosso and Casavecchia 🍷

The history, culture and customs of the Samnites - the indigenous peoples who also populated the territories of Campania - fascinated and inspired me. I also drew on tarot symbology to create dreamlike illustrations, at times suspended between dream and reality.

☀The sun that illuminates the lands of the Volturno and its grapes are the fundamental part of the journey of the Samnite warrior. Thirst suddenly surprises him while he is intent on crossing the Volturno river. What will he find on the other shore? 🌅

| The Pigiatore

Concentrated and sinuous, the young grape presser continues his dance that transforms the richness of his lands into a ruby-colored nectar.

The pressing was a day of celebration and effort in the hope of the good fortune of the harvest. 🍇

| La Versatrice

La Versatrice, a farmer of humble origins, is intent on pouring wine into a horn, which at the time was used as glasses. The full moon behind her accompanies the woman and illuminates her path.

🌕It seems that this moon phase is perfect for bottling wine.
