Everyone notices the final animation.
Almost nobody notices the hundreds of tiny decisions that make it feel effortless.
The timing of a transition. The pause before a key message. The animation you remove because it distracts more than it helps.
Working on this Google Drive SaaS explainer reminded me that good editing isn't about adding more. It's about making every second easier to understand.
So I built this with one goal: If someone watches it once, they should immediately know what the product does.
The process: • Adobe After Effects for the complete animation and motion design • Clean typography to guide attention instead of competing for it • Smooth transitions to keep every scene connected • Purposeful pacing so the information never feels rushed
The best explainer videos don't ask viewers to work harder.
They quietly do the hard work for them.
That's the kind of editing I'm chasing.
