Overview
I had the privilege of leading a talented team of five students in creating the "Smart Office" project—a cutting-edge prototype designed to minimize operational costs and maximize energy efficiency. This project resulted from a collaboration between Izmir Kız High School and Izmir University of Economics.
Key Contributions
Team Leadership: Coordinated a team of five, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective time management over six months.
Mobile Application Development: Developed a user-friendly mobile application using Flutter, enabling real-time monitoring and control of the Smart Office system.
System Security & Database Management: Implemented robust security protocols and managed the database using Python and FastAPI, ensuring data integrity and secure communication.
IoT Integration: Leveraged a Raspberry Pi 3 as the server, and an ESP32 microcontroller with connected sensors as client devices, to create a fully integrated IoT system.
Efficient Data Exchange: Utilized the MQTT protocol on a Linux server to ensure efficient and reliable data exchange between the mobile app and the server.
