Client / Channel

What I’ve Learned (via US-based Agency)

The Challenge

The channel regularly publishes educational long-form videos and needed consistent, high-retention editing that supports clear storytelling without distracting from the message.
The videos are information-dense, so pacing, structure, and clarity were critical.

My Role

Video editing for long-form YouTube content as part of an agency team. Responsibilities included:
Structuring the narrative flow
Improving pacing and clarity
Cleaning up cuts and transitions
Supporting retention without over-editing

The Approach

I focused on clean, distraction-free editing that matched the channel’s educational style. The goal was to keep viewers engaged through:
Strong pacing
Clear visual rhythm
Minimal but purposeful cuts
The edit was designed to support the content, not overpower it.

The Outcome

The video was published on a channel with over 2 million subscribers and reached approximately 500,000 views organically.
