DabaFinance is a fintech investment platform that allows users to discover, invest in, and track the performance of promising African startups.
What the Brand is About:
It bridges the gap between investors and high-growth startups in Africa by providing a secure, transparent, and data-driven investment platform.
Goal:
To build a scalable fullstack application supporting real-time investments, secure transactions, and robust analytics.
What I Achieved:
Developed core frontend components using React.js and Next.js.
Designed and implemented backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
Wrote comprehensive unit tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
Challenges:
Handling real-time financial data with accuracy and security.
Building an infrastructure that supports investor due diligence, payment flows, and regulatory compliance.
Solutions/Outcome:
Created modular backend services with role-based access control and secure authentication.
Leveraged SSR in Next.js for SEO and investment deal visibility.
The platform launched successfully, enabling hundreds of users to invest securely and monitor startups in real time.
