The project was conceived as a part of participation in the 5th {CURA} Award, which aimed to adapt an apartment located in the Copan Building to meet de needs of a home office in the midst of the challenges imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. The apartment in question is situated on the 32nd floor of Block C of the building and stands out for its flexibility, spaciousness, abundant natural lighting and cross ventilation.

The proposal was developed taking into consideration the preferences and needs of the clients, who emphasized the importance of cooking and socializing with friends. To achieve this goal, most of the existing walls were removed, creating integrated spaces while maintaining a subtle division for different functions To accomplish this, folding doors were installed, separating the office form the living room, as well as the service balcony from the kitchen. These doors provide the flexibility to keep the spaces open or closed, depending on the need for privacy at any given moment.
