Nooq Collective is a coffee pop up business that recently launched this year. Three unique illustrations were commissioned for the opening, representing three coffees that are to be served for the month.

The artworks depict the tasting experience and flavour notes one can expect in a cup of coffee at Nooq Collective, with quirky touches to bring forward the brand's casual and fun personality. Each custom piece can be seen across the store front from the menu, to the packaging and to brand merchandise.

This coffee is particularly distinctive on the tasting table, showcasing notes of raspberry compote and cranberry with a finish that is reminiscent of umeshu. I wanted to portray the coffee's quality of cooked fruit and choose to include a pan element in the illustration that is 'cooking' the raspberry.

Bookkisa is a comforting cup of coffee that reflects the florality and elegance of a classic Ethiopian coffee. The artwork depicts a relaxing morning over breakfast with coffee and blueberry toasts.

This coffee is another classic profile from Colombia and inspired by good times with friends over wine. Like all the other artworks, it almost has an ethereal mood with the lighting direction.
