Customers are found to be plagiarising Bank Statement data and SMS data from users who got good loan offers. Aim was to identify such customers and block them for good. I utilised hashing techniques to create algorithms and tagged every unique data point in our vast database. For every incoming user, the hash tag map was used to identify fraudulent cases. This helped the company save over $1.4 Mn in bad debts every month.
