Social Media Strategist Intern at Born 2 Dance Studio
As a social media strategist intern at Born 2 Dance Studio, I have worked with one of the largest providers of adult and youth dance programs in the DMV area. Founded in 2007, Born 2 Dance offers a diverse range of dance styles and events, serving over 25,000 dance enthusiasts through its main studio in Vienna and a satellite location in Arlington.
In my 12 weeks at the studio, I leveraged my expertise to enhance and realign our social media presence, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand voice across all platforms. Key contributions include:
- TikTok Development: Created a TikTok page to attract a younger audience, expanding our reach and engagement with a new demographic.
- Instagram Strategy: Developed and implemented a comprehensive social media strategy for Instagram, resulting in increased engagement and lead generation.
- Content Calendar: Established a detailed content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting, aligning with the studio's core values and persona.
- Community Building: Fostered a vibrant online community by responding to comments and posting interactive content, encouraging open conversations and connections among followers.
- Monthly Audits: Conducted monthly social media audits to measure growth and engagement, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement.
- Competitive Analysis: Compiled a competitive analysis to monitor industry trends and strategies, positioning Born 2 Dance to stay ahead of competitors.
Through these efforts, I have contributed to creating a dynamic and engaging social media presence that promotes our diverse dance offerings, strengthens our community, and drives business growth.
