A site for a tattoo studio with four resident artists.

Most studios end up buying a dark portfolio template and bending it. A portfolio has one owner, no inventory and nothing to book. A studio has residents who each take their own clients, a flash sheet that sells out, and people who want to know what the work looks like once it has healed. None of that fits a portfolio, so the structure here follows the business instead of the aesthetic.

Every artist gets a profile and booking that reaches them rather than a general inbox. The flash wall carries live status per design, available, claimed or gone, and a design leaves the wall when it is tattooed. Selected work shows healed pieces only, with the artist and the healing time on each. The enquiry asks for placement, size and a preferred artist, because it is a deposit-led studio with no walk-ins.

Second Skin is the part worth scrolling. It runs from day zero wrapped to month four settled, which is the only question every client actually has and the one thing a gallery of fresh photos can never answer.

Archivo and Space Mono, stencil violet on ink and paper. Built native first, so every text layer, image and section is editable directly on the Framer canvas. Named colour styles throughout, and the layout is finished at desktop, tablet and phone.
