A portfolio for a film photographer, built like a contact sheet rather than a gallery.

The idea came from how the work is actually made. A photographer shoots a roll, prints a sheet, then marks it up: a cross through the dead frames, a circle around the one, a note to crop tighter. Most photography templates hide that process and show only the finished print. This one leaves the marks on, so the site says something about how the person works, not just what they produced.

Handwriting against a monospace, an off white paper ground, and images that are allowed to be small when small is right.

Seven pages: home, photoarchive, series, shop, journal, about and contact, with the archive and journal running on the Framer CMS so new rolls are added as records.

Built native first, so every text layer, image and section is editable directly on the Framer canvas. Named colour styles throughout, and the layout is finished at desktop, tablet and phone.
