“I Didn’t Plan to Become a Video Editor…”
It started with a simple video.
No fancy setup.
No expensive computer.
No idea what I was doing.
Just me… staring at a timeline full of random clips, thinking:
“Okay… now what?” 😂
I clicked something.
The screen changed.
I clicked something else.
And somehow… I made the entire video disappear.
For a few seconds, I just sat there in silence.
Then I thought…
“Well… I guess I’m not a video editor anymore.” 💀
But instead of quitting, I tried again.
And again.
And again.
Every mistake taught me something new.
I slowly discovered that video editing wasn’t just about cutting clips and adding music.
It was about storytelling.
A boring moment could become exciting with the right cut.
A simple sentence could feel powerful with the right sound.
And sometimes…
one second could change the entire story.
That’s when things got interesting.
I started experimenting with captions, transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, animations, and eventually… AI-powered content.
And suddenly, the same person who once accidentally deleted an entire timeline…
was sitting for hours trying to make one perfect transition. 😂
But there was one thing I didn’t expect.
The more I edited…
the more I realized—
I wasn’t just editing videos anymore.
I was creating emotions.
Building stories.
And turning ordinary footage into something people actually wanted to watch.
And that…
was just the beginning.
Because I had no idea where this little experiment was going to take me next.
