Organise Your Workspace

A workspace that doesn’t meet the standards of a comfortable space to work on can lead to inefficiencies. Create a space that suits your needs to increase productivity, such as acquiring the specific tools and arranging the setup to your liking. By doing so, you can finally release the tension within your workspace.
Decluttering is important as it can lead to various consequences such as, serious safety hazards, demoralization, and reduced productivity. Disposal of things that aren’t needed is necessary to efficiently accomplish tasks, this include irrelevant copies of paper and electronics that can no longer be used. Instead, put decorations or artworks that helps you be more productive and you can assure that procrastination won’t get into you.

Steps to being Clutter Free:

•Reduce distractions by throwing away unimportant things. •Clean and arrange your workspace before leaving. •Make sure to put things back where it should be. •Keep other people’s clutter away from your space. •Before bringing any new items in your office make sure to have a designated place for it.

Noisy Working Environment

Disruptive noises can be a serious matter in reducing productivity. These distractions can be a hindrance in communicating with customers clearly which can lead to miscommunications. Firstly, address the issue by determining the source of noise and provide a solution as soon as possible but regardless of what solution you may come up with, kindness must still be your center in engaging customers.

Interactions between Coworkers

It is normal for people to have disagreements, considering they have different opinions from one another. And that is why addressing these conflicts productively in a positive manner is crucial before it starts affecting other aspects of your life. Providing creative strategies can be used to address these conflicts that will also benefit all parties involved, these strategies include conscious listening to other people’s perspectives without interruption, by showing empathy to gain a better understanding of their situation. Practice having an open-mind during these kind of discussions to easily resolve the issue.
•The term ‘anger’ can be in various forms, and it is crucial to learn how to manage it constructively and efficiently. When facing situations where strong emotions are present, it is recommended to figure out how to approach it appropriately while considering the perspectives and individual rights of the other parties involved in the scenario. Having some cool offs are sometimes necessary before continuing the conversation again.
•Whenever stress levels increases, keep in mind that the way we think about a certain situation can have an impact on how we behave or act. Take a moment to pause and think deeply about how those emotions were triggered rather than making quick judgments to have a clear understanding of it.
•It is important to have effective communications during interactions. Convey your message confidently and clearly to your audience to be more convincing and avoid being misunderstood as aggressive. Communicating effectively requires the use of positive language such as gestures, facial expressions, etc., open dialogue to prevent misinterpretations and gain a better comprehension between the parties involved.
•An agreement will take two parties to have an open mind, willingness to share their different perspectives, flexibility to adapt–it is not a simple process. Gain an understanding of the other party’s thoughts by listening attentively while showing empathy and provide them reassurance that their concerns are being valued.
•When two parties are incompatible to each other, they collaborate and seek to identify a person which is commonly called as an arbitrator that can help in alleviating the tension between the conflicting sides. Picking the right arbitrator is crucial to make sure that recommendations received are fair; their characteristics must be neutral to both parties.

Strict Managers or Micro Managers

Perfectionist managers that often set unimaginable expectations can be difficult to work with. But as employees, we must also understand that they also face challenges from their superiors and customers, leading to managerial duress; this may also include stressors from outside of work. Put their challenges under consideration to address the situation constructively and for optimizing communication. Moreover, allow a room for adjustments whenever sudden disruptions occur.
