It all started with a simple landscape illustration and ended up as an untold story. Each detail is manually crafted, fully animated and illustrated by me.
Fading into Haze
It all started with a simple landscape illustration and ended up as an untold story. Each object and detail in the project is manually crafted, fully animated and illustrated by me.
In a serene scene, there's a folded story of a girl/witch going with the flow to fade into the unknown. Maybe to escape and find comfort, or to start a new adventure, who knows?
Everything in the scene moves separately, yet, they're all swinging in harmony, from the clouds, the girl's hair and broom, to the birds.
As the warm final sunshine of the day gently hugs the mountains, the clouds observe wisely from up there.
The birds in the sky appear almost a moment before the girl fades, as a symbol of hope, guidance, and protection.
The calm river reflects the warm scene, mirroring and recording the magic of the golden sunset on the top.
Sketch
The sketching process started simple and I started building from there to add a story.
Color Palette
The color choice is earthy, and warm to reflect comfort and magic.
