The Rhythmical Creation of Beauty

Poetry, to me, is more than a genre. Poetry is an outlook to life, an endless endeavor, and a tool by which we can explore ourselves in new ways. I began writing poetry while pursuing my undergraduate degree in English Literature at the University of Central Missouri. While studying there, I received the David Baker Poetry Award for my piece, "Well," which was also published in Issue 5.1 of Bear Review and featured in the Best of the Net Anthology in 2018.

Additional works featured only in print include poems featured in Number One Magazine, Arcade Magazine, Permafrost, and Power House Books.
