As a little kid playing with my toy fire trucks in the engine bay of the fire house, I always wanted to design a fire department logo. On a whim one afternoon, I redesigned the logo for the fire department my father worked at and sent it along. Enamored with it, the incoming chief said they would use it as their upcoming redesign; after some minor revisions of course... much to my dismay, it would undergo some minor tweaks after my final version... Today it's proudly being used on everything from the apparatus to the uniforms. I even heard they are getting new trucks soon; hopefully it will adorn those too...
