Elias Vent: A Framer Portfolio Built Around Case Studies

Original Apollo Studio Framer template. The brand and product content are fictional demonstrations.
Elias Vent is a free Framer portfolio template for product and motion designers. We created a fictional designer and a set of demonstration projects to build out the whole portfolio, including the pages someone reaches after clicking a project cover.

Giving each project enough room

The homepage introduces the practice through large project imagery, a short description, services, and contact information. The dark presentation and restrained typography let work with very different colors sit together.
Each case study has a consistent structure: a cover, role, timeline, overview, challenge, and visual showcase. Five populated examples demonstrate how to use it. The project names, clients, and portfolio history belong to the fictional demonstration designer.

Behind the scenes: designing the portfolio as a set

The Figma portfolio board places the homepage beside the individual project layouts. It shows how the same page structure holds a running app, skincare imagery, and other design directions without requiring a new composition for every project.
The file also contains a moodboard, separate cover sets, and an archive. The useful process view is the relationship between the homepage and the project pages: a strong cover needs an equally considered page behind it.

Building an updateable portfolio

In Framer, the Projects collection holds the title, category, cover, role, timeline, year, overview, challenge, and showcase content. New entries use the existing case-study layout and connect to next-project navigation.
Elias Vent ships with the homepage, CMS case studies, and a 404. A designer can adapt the visual styles and add work through the collection, keeping future updates manageable.
