Overview

Yardscape is a Framer website system designed for residential landscape designers and studios. It combines an editorial, image-led visual direction with structured CMS content, service packages, project organization, testimonials, and responsive components.
The goal was to create more than a portfolio. Yardscape gives a landscape business a structured way to present its work, explain its services, organize its content, and turn visitors into inquiries.

Goal

The goal was to create a complete six-page website system that could support the core needs of a residential landscape business without relying on a generic agency structure.
The system needed to balance strong visual presentation with practical functionality, giving visitors clear ways to explore projects, understand services, and begin an inquiry.
At the same time, the underlying Framer structure needed to remain flexible enough for the business to manage and update its own content.

CHALLENGES

Making Landscape Design Easy to Understand

Landscape design encompasses much more than planting. Projects can involve softscaping, hardscaping, materials, outdoor living areas, and the relationship between the landscape and the home.
The challenge was to represent that breadth without making the website feel complicated or turning the experience into a dense catalog.

Designing a System, Not Just Pages

Projects, packages, project types, plants, materials, testimonials, and team content all need to exist independently of the main page layouts.
The challenge was creating a structure where these different types of content could work together while remaining easy to manage and customize.

STRATEGY

Yardscape was structured around three layers: presentation, organization, and conversion.
Presentation puts residential landscape work at the center of the experience through large imagery, editorial layouts, and project-focused sections.
Organization uses CMS collections and reusable structures to separate projects, packages, project types, plants, materials, testimonials, and team content.
Conversion connects the visual experience to practical information and inquiry paths, allowing visitors to move from discovering the work to understanding the services and contacting the studio.
The six-page structure provides the foundation, while the CMS and component system provide the flexibility underneath it.

Solution

To address the need for a landscape website that is both visually compelling and structurally functional, Yardscape combines a CMS-driven content system with reusable components, responsive layouts, and clear service organization.
Projects, packages, project types, plants, materials, testimonials, and team content are managed independently through CMS collections, while project categories and the Seedling, Sapling, and Canopy packages give the studio a clear structure for presenting its work and services. A reusable before-and-after slider communicates transformation visually, while responsive layouts and a consistent design system make the template adaptable across devices and easier to customize without rebuilding the interface.

OUTCOME

The result is a six-page Framer system that functions as a complete digital foundation for a residential landscape design business.
Yardscape brings together visual storytelling, CMS architecture, service presentation, project organization, responsive design, reusable components, and conversion paths within one cohesive product.
Visitors can explore available services, and move naturally toward an inquiry, while the studio has a structured system for managing and expanding its content.
Rather than treating landscape design as a generic creative-service website, Yardscape provides a specialized framework built around how residential landscape businesses present their work and services.
