When someone visits a law firm's website, they are rarely browsing casually.

They are often dealing with uncertainty, stress, or an urgent legal matter. In those moments, trust becomes more important than aesthetics.

For Crainey Law, the challenge wasn't simply creating a visually appealing website. The real objective was designing an experience that immediately communicated professionalism, confidence, and reliability while making it easy for potential clients to take action.

Every design decision was made around one question:

"Would this make someone feel comfortable enough to contact this firm?"

Before exploring layouts or visual styles, I focused on understanding how potential clients would interact with the website.

Most visitors arrive looking for answers, reassurance, and a clear path forward. They don't want to decode complex navigation or search endlessly for contact information.

The experience needed to feel calm, trustworthy, and straightforward from the very first screen.

This insight shaped the entire structure of the website and influenced everything from content hierarchy to call-to-action placement.

My design approach focused on three core principles:

• Establish trust immediately through a clean and professional visual language.

• Reduce friction by organizing information into a clear and intuitive hierarchy.

• Encourage action by strategically positioning consultation-focused calls to action throughout the experience.

Rather than relying on unnecessary visual effects, I prioritized clarity, readability, and user confidence.

The result is a website that feels credible, approachable, and purpose-driven.

The final website delivers a stronger sense of trust, improved content clarity, and a more structured user journey.

By combining strategic information architecture with a clean visual experience, the website helps potential clients focus on what matters most: finding the legal support they need and taking the next step with confidence.
