Squad: Habit Accountability

Squad is a habit accountability app that helps users build lasting habits through group challenges. With daily check-ins, progress tracking, and support from peers, it motivates users to stay consistent. Inspired by behavioral science, Squad makes habit formation engaging and effective.

My Contribution to the Project
Impact: Achieved a notable increase in user retention and engagement, with 57% of users actively utilizing the habit tracking features consistently.
Challenges overcome:
Developed new user engagement features, including customizable habit trackers and community messaging, enhancing user interaction and retention.
Refactored and optimized the codebase, achieving a 32% improvement in app load times and overall performance.
Implemented cloud functions to streamline backend operations, ensuring seamless scalability and real-time updates for a smoother user experience.
Worked collaboratively with product owners to align new features with user expectations, delivering a product that meets and exceeds requirements.
