Brand Identity, Website & Marketing for a Business Game Startup

Lemonayd is a Hong Kong-based startup that makes physical business games designed to build real-world skills like pitching, negotiation, and decision-making. Their tagline says it all: "Fun games for serious business interactions." The brand has been featured at TEDx, StartmeupHK, and HKUST, and targets entrepreneurs, coaches, business students, and corporate teams.
Lemonayd needed a complete brand and digital presence built from the ground up. They had a product and a vision, but no cohesive brand identity, no website, and no marketing engine to reach their audience. Everything needed to be created — from the look and feel of the brand to how it showed up online.
What I Did
Brand Playbook & Guidelines Developed the full brand identity system — logo usage, color palette (the signature yellow and black), typography, tone of voice, and visual guidelines. This became the foundation everything else was built on.
Website Design & Development Designed and built lemonayd.co on Shopify — a fully functional e-commerce site showcasing their game boxes (PITCH, NEGOTIATE, and BUNDLE), a How to Play section, custom games offering, and blog. The site needed to balance playful energy with credibility, since the audience ranges from startup founders to university programs.
Social Media Graphics & Content Created branded social media graphics for Instagram and Facebook that carried the brand identity across every post — engagement-style content, product features, and community-building posts.
Ad Campaigns Set up and managed paid campaigns to drive awareness and traffic to the Shopify store.
The Outcome
Lemonayd launched with a fully cohesive brand that translated seamlessly across packaging, website, social media, and advertising. The brand identity we built is still in use today and has carried the company through features at TEDx, Global Service Jam Hong Kong, and StartmeupHK. The website continues to serve as their primary sales channel across 50+ countries.
